Concert: Die Goldenen Zuanziger

Melodies and songs of the 20s by Heike Bleckmann, piano and Claus Temps, singing.

Claus Temps (Karlsruhe), bass-baritone
With very active as a soloist, he mainly focuses on song and oratory. Together with pianist Heike Bleckmann the duo has a repertoire of musical and literary programs devoted lately, among others, to Heinrich Heine, Nikolaus Lenau and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. He has made several recordings in collaboration with the musicologist Dr. Draheim Joachim and pianist Ira Maria Witoschynskyj.

Heike Bleckmann (Karlsruhe), piano
She studied piano at the Music School of Karlsruhe and Würzburg, and practical training in the US with, among others, Menahem Pressler (Beaux Arts Trio). She has made numerous concerts as a soloist and with various ensembles and as a vocal accompanist. Her work places special emphasis on the development and implementation of programs that combine music and literature, mostly the biographies and works of the composers.
