Presentation of Future Architecture Platform in Barcelona and workshop

Fundació Mies van der Rohe has joined the Future Architecture Platform, the first pan-European platform of initiatives, museums and architecture festivals, bringing ideas to the general public about the future of cities and architecture.

On July 17th at 4:00 pm we propose to participate in a workshop with My Bookcase, one of the actions of the Platform, selected from an open call. Think / Classify / Publish: How do we classify what we think? How do we think when we want to classify? to investigate in editorial processes for the creation of new narratives about the future of architecture based on a selection of texts that will allow us to do an editing exercise in which we will create our own publication.

Following is the official presentation in Barcelona of this platform to which we join the desire to highlight the emerging generation of talents in various disciplines and explore and share their ideas about the future of cities and architecture.

We will explain the initiatives of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe and dpr-Barcelona we have contributed to the Platform: the Young Talent Architecture Award (YTAA) that recognizes the best projects for the end of the career of European architecture students and ArchiFutures, an editorial project that combines The possibilities of critical editing, innovative printing and active intervention by users.

We will also inform you about the next edition of the call open to the Future Architecture Platform to which we encourage you to participate with your proposals.
