Per amor a les arts (For the love of the arts) is a film season promoted by the Filmoteca de Catalunya and the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya on relations between cinema and the other arts–architecture, literature, music, dance, opera and theatre—as seen from the transversal perspective of cinema.
Fiction and documentaries from different periods, genres and styles endow the portrait of artists, creators, works and tendencies from other disciplines with an integrating view. The result is a veritable festival of cinema in thirty-four sessions to which the Mies van der Rohe foundation has contributed to this second edition with the following events:
14 November: Cube, Vicenzo Natali 1997
13 March: L’amatore, Maria Mauti 2016
8 May: Blade Runner, Ridley Scott 1982
We are pleased to form part of this project and form a team with the Barcelona, the Fundació Mies Van der Rohe, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes, the Mercat de les Flors, the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Servei de Biblioteques de la Generalitat, the Teatre Lliure and the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya.
