The new Mies van der Rohe Pavilion audio guide is now available! Take advantage of these holidays to live the experience.
A new resource to explain to visitors, beyond dates and materials, the way in which architecture structures, arranges and articulates special, concrete, individual and perceptible experiences. The best stimulus to generate architectural curiosity is to generate awareness of what is happening right in front of us, to perceive each visual, each architectural event that occurs in real space, in the same way as we would do with a work of art in a museum.
We propose a meeting between those of us who are interested in the way how architecture is explained in schools, media, and educational services from spaces of architectural interest or as intellectual reflection.
We will discuss with experts in the new ways of talking about art and architecture such as Queralt Garriga, PhD Architect and author of the concept and script of the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion audio guide; Juhani Pallasmaa (online), PhD Architect and author of multiple texts on the experimentation of space; Eulàlia Bosch, professor of philosophy and curator of exhibitions and projects that connect the arts, education, and philosophy with everyday life; and Victoria Garriga, architect and museographer.
After the conversation and debate, we invite you to experience for yourselves how the audio guide transforms the visit, and to celebrate, without the mask, with a toast to the spring.
