In the centenary of the Bauhaus, its ideals and goals full of hope are still valid today, making it a true myth, the most influential institution in the formation of the modern movement.
Ninety years separate two architectural works that contribute today, very differently, to maintain the legacy of the Bauhaus: the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion, a reference of modern architecture designed by the last director of the School, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, in collaboration with Lilly Reich; and the new Bauhaus Museum in Dessau, designed by Addenda Architects, which shows the movement and its legacy to new generations.
Next Thursday, October 3rd, thanks to JUNG (sponsor of the Young Talent Architecture Award), we will pay tribute to the hundred years of the Bauhaus with a conference of Addenda Architects and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe in the Mies Pavilion van der Rohe from Barcelona.
19:20 Presentation of the Pavilion project in relation to the Bauhaus
19:35 Presentation of the new Bauhaus Museum in Dessau by Addenda Architects
19:55 Conversation between the director of the Mies van der Rohe Foundation, Anna Ramos and Addenda Architects
Entrance by invitation only | Full capacity
