We celebrate World Architecture Day by announcing that the Lilly Reich Grant for equality in architecture, in its third edition, has been awarded to the proposal ‘Anna Bofill Levi. Architecture as a Counter-Melody (1977-1996)’ by M.ª Elia Gutiérrez Mozo, José Parra Martínez, Ana Gilsanz Díaz and Joaquín Arnau Amo.
The grant – which aims to support the study, dissemination and visibility of contributions to architecture that have been discriminated against, relegated and forgotten – had this year as an expert jury Aaron Betsky, Débora Domingo Calabuig and Zaida muxí
After assessing the 12 proposals received from the United Kingdom, Spain, the Netherlands, Chile, Australia, Costa Rica, Italy and the USA, the jury has selected this proposal in the context of Anna Bofill Levi’s production which fits in architecture, music and literature.
