The Mies van der Rohe Pavilion becomes, once more, the Music Pavilion. This time, in the frame of the second edition of the Barcelona Obertura Spring Festival, the Pavilion will be a part of Obertura City+, that offers free access performances to reach the public with the opportunity of hearing young local musical talents in some of the most iconic places of the city.
On Satuday, 14th March at 19h, the Pavilion welcomes the pianist Noelia Rodiles, who will perform Beethoven’s Sonatas number 21 Opus 53 “Waldstein”, num. 28 Opus 101 and num. 31 Opus 110, thus joining the Marathon of Beethoven´s Sonatas during which different iconic spaces in Montjuïc will present the complete Sonatas for piano written by the composer in charge of ten different interpreters in the 250th anniversary of his birth.
Noelia Rodiles is one of the best considered pianists of the young generation and the program she performs includes three of the most challenging Sonatas by Beethoven, a complex program available to an interpreter with great sensibility and musical intelligence that we hope you enjoy as well.
