Debates in the Pavilion: City Connections Project

We invite you to attend the debate between Belgian and Catalan architects in the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion with the will to generate a real connection between the architecture studios involved in this edition of the Cities Connection Project.

Cities Connection Project has as its central axis the double exhibition in Brussels and Barcelona “Import Wallonie-Bruxelles / Export Barcelona. Re-activate the city ” that can be seen in the Arts Santa Monica. In addition to the catalogue and the visits to buildings commented on by their authors, the debate generated in the Pavilion as a space of reflection and shared and crossed knowledge between the architects of the two origins participating in the exhibition is of particular importance.

Around a table all the summoned ones put at the disposal of the others their publications in diverse formats. From here, with an initial moderation by Ferran Grau and Audrey Contesse (authors of the critical texts of the catalogue of the exhibition), it is sought to establish a constructive discussion about the projects and the urban, political and social context with which each study has worked.

Once the debate is over, the day will be closed with music and a more festive atmosphere.
