The Fundació Mies van der Rohe offers an Educational Action Plan, aimed at high school and elementary students and the family public to take advantage of the unique space that is the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion to teach girls and boys, visitors and the Barcelonians to know and enjoy good architecture.
Our pedagogical project currently includes the following activities:
Discovering the keys to modern architecture
: This activity invites A-level pupils to discover a new way to understand architecture through the structure, the materials and the forms of the pavilion that architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe built in Barcelona in 1929. An architectural manifesto that would exert a permanent influence on future generations of architects.

Free visit to the Pavilion, with documentary support to prepare the visit of the school groups accompanied by teachers.

In order to facilitate and encourage research around the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion, we offer access to specific documentation of our archive, bibliography and access to our library, visits to our facilities, answering inquiries via email, advice and the possibility of interview the staff of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe.
