The Pavilion opens its doors to the public at 10 am in the morning and the first event to take place is the screening of five shorts of European film directors of the #EUandMe campaign.
Outside the pavilion, from early morning, students from Institut Antoni Cumella of Granollers from ages 14 to 16 produce a carpet of flowers with the colors of the European flag, organised by the “Catifaires” Federation.
The institutional event will begin at 12 o’clock with the participation of the director of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe, Anna Ramos, who will talk about the European Year of Cultural Heritage, protagonist of this year’s Architecture Week that takes place from May 10 to 20. The institutional event will also count with the participation of the president of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs of the European Parliament, Danuta Hübner; the Councilor for International Relations of Barcelona City Council, Laura Pérez Castaño; and the director of the Representation of the European Commission in Barcelona, Ferran Tarradellas.
