Mies on scene: Barcelona in two acts. Screening at Hay Festival Segovia

Mies on Scene continues its tour across film festivals around the globe, with another screening in Segovia of this documentary about the story of a building that changed the history of architecture in Europe and in the World. The story of the Barcelona Pavilion, the masterpiece with which Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich staged their revolutionary ideas in 1929. Its construction and subsequent reconstruction immerse us in a reflection on the perception of art, space and the concept of a masterpiece.

The Screening will be followed by a 20 min conversation on the documentary with one of its directors Pep Martín from Nihao Films, Ivan Blasi, curator of programmes at Fundació Mies van der Rohe in Barcelona and Martha Thorne, Dean at IE School of Architecture and Design, moderated by Nicolas Valencia, News Editor at Archdaily.
