Lluïsa Espigolé (Barcelona, 1981) is specialized in the contemporary piano repertoire. Her activity focuses on the interpretation and releases of experimental music as soloist, chamber music, ensembles as well as collaborating in interdisciplinary projects and free improvisation. She has performed, among others, at the Lucerne Festival, the Musica Festival Strasbourg , 8Brücken Köln, the Internationales Musikfestival Darmstadt, Sampler Sèries, the OUT.SIDE Series, the Sónar Festival, the Mixtur Festival. She collaborates with several groups including Ensemble Adapter (Berlin), Ensemble Ascolta (Stuttgart), CrossingLines Ensemble (Barcelona), Ensemble Modern (Frankfurt) and Ensemble Plus Minus (London). She is currently a professor of contemporary piano and chamber music at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Aragon, a task that combines with pedagogical activities in several national and international institutions.
