The new publications of the Young Talent Architecture Award (YTAA) are out. One edition includes the projects from European, Brazilian, Chilean and Mexican schools, while the other one sets side by side the projects from Chinese, Indian, Japanese and South Korean schools. The Asia edition can be found in English, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and Korean.
The books include images, drawings, texts and pictures from the shortlisted, finalist and winner projects as well as texts from the jury members.
The books have been published by Fundació Mies van der Robe with dpr-barcelona in the framework of the Future Architecture Platform and the support of the Creative Europe program of the European Union.
In the Young Talent Architecture Award 2020 catalogue, you will find the 382 graduation projects submitted by 478 students from 155 schools throughout Europe and Brazil, Chile and Mexico as guest countries. The book highlights the selection made by Martine de Maeseneer, Oleg Drozdov, Rosario Talevi, Juliet Leach and Bet Capdeferro, the jury members, including the 4 winners and 8 finalists. You will also have the opportunity to discover the graduation project of Frédéric Druot, winner of the EU Mies Award 2019.
In the Asia Edition of the Young Talent Architecture Award 2020 you will find the 139 graduation projects submitted by 190 students from 61 schools throughout China, India, Japan and South Korea. Momoyo Kaijima, Minsuk Cho, Chitra Vishwanath, Li Xiangning and Eduard Kögel shortlisted 13 projects, decided on 6 finalists and chose 3 winners all of which are carefully published.
