Opening of international workshop Mediterranean Blind & Japanese Sudare.

In support of the collaboration between academic institutions linked to architecture, from around the world, the Fundació Mies van der Rohe hosts at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion the opening event of the seminar organized by the ETSAB – Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Waseda University and coordinated by the professors Carlos Alonso and Takeshi Yamamura “Mediterranean Blind & Japanese Sudare”.

In the presentation we will have, among others, a welcome conference by Ivan Blasi on behalf of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe, as well as a concert by a string duo.

This seminar has a second edition to be held in Tokyo in 2018 and is part of a series of workshops that connect our architectural traditions with those of the Japanese.
