At Fundació Mies van der Rohe we are actively committed to contributing to a model of sustainable tourism and in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. We carry out our work in a way that respects the environment, culture, working conditions, gender equity and social and economic return.
We believe in a model of non-aggressive tourism capable of meeting the current needs of our users, without compromising future generations, reducing negative impacts and encouraging awareness among users and workers and the adoption of responsible behavior that has earned the Biosphere certification.
This approach has allowed us to obtain the Safe Travels distinction, the health safety seal internationally approved by the WTTC (World Travel Tourism Council) awarded by Turisme de Barcelona to those entities recognized with the Commitment for Sustainable Tourism Barcelona Biosphere Certification, and the seal of prevention measures against COVID-19.
The Mies van der Rohe Pavilion is, in the current context, a tourist destination or a cultural and leisure activity of choice due to its characteristics as an open, low-density space.
The certificates as a safe and sustainable destination endorse our way of working to provide you with the best service and receive you in the best conditions as we have always done. Are you coming?
