Come to the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion! Friday 12 February we have an open day to mark Santa Eulàlia. We invite you to come and enjoy at no cost this very special space, the reconstruction of a work that marked the course of modern architecture and that is still a reference and inspiration for present generations.
Even though it is not as quiet as usual on open days, being in the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion allows us to discover that there is much more to it than meets the eye at first glance. From the outside we can already perceive its beauty and balance, but when we walk through it, when we let the time slip by while sitting on the travertine bench or in the famous Barcelona chair, the feelings are quite different.
If you take the time to discover its details and hidden corners, you will realise that it is not a task to be completed in a single day. That every time you are in it, you will find a new perspective, a new light, a reflection that wasn’t there before, a texture that you hadn’t yet appreciated…
As we know that taking the opportunity to marvel at the Pavilion makes you want to come back, we suggest the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion Card so that you can come as many times as you want and make it yours. You will have unlimited and preferential access, we will update you on our activities and, in addition to discounts in the bookshop, we will give you five free tickets at the time of purchase so that you can invite whoever you want! Because it’s clear that the things we really like, besides posting them on social media, we want to share them with our closest people!
