Fundació Mies van der Rohe and Guiding Architects Barcelona offer you a visit to the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion in virtual format. Through a simulation, the rapporteur will guide you live through the different moments in the history of the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion. This virtual environment offers ways to interact with the contents that would otherwise be impossible. Its mutable and hybrid nature allows maximum flexibility of itineraries by allowing us to move freely through space and time, mixing various supports and different sources of information.
At the time of its construction, the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion was a break with old traditional ideas and notions. The fluid and open space of the Pavilion invites you to delight in the infinity of possible routes. In this context and faithful to the creative, modern and innovative spirit of what today is indisputably one of the icons of modern architecture, our proposal ventures to glimpse and explore new paths and rethink the limits between what is material and immaterial.
Virtual tours are one hour long and cost 3 Euros. They are carried out “in person” live through the Zoom platform and are led by an expert guide from the Guiding Architects team.
