The ship NAUMON traveled through six cities in the Mediterranean for fifteen days, about three days per city. In each city, a route was recorded from the port to show a view from the window of a house.
The result was an audiovisual installation of six simultaneous screens, corresponding to six Mediterranean cities: Athens, Barcelona, Beirut, Istanbul, Marseille and Venice. Each of the films narrates the basic journey from a place in the city’s port to showing the view from a window located in a house in a neighborhood of “social housing” in the city. The assembly of the image of the six routes is strictly accurate. In sound, on the other hand, all the films have a single common soundscape.
