“Mies van der Rohe. Textos Completos, 1922-1969” Book presentation with Moisés Puente, editor, in conversation with Carolina B. García-Estévez

We invite you to the conversation between Moisés Puente and Carolina B. García-Estévez hosted by the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion on the occasion of the presentation of the book Mies van der Rohe. Textos completos, 1922-1969. Ensayos, conferencias y conversaciones, published by Puente Editores with the support of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe.

This book is the most complete compilation to date of the writings, speeches, statements and interviews of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969). Through these texts, Mies’s deep commitment to modern architecture and his training, both in Germany and the United States, is revealed. Both texts written by his own hand and transcriptions of oral records are included, from his first manifestos to interviews from his last stage as an internationally recognized architect. Through these writings, many of which have never been translated into Spanish, Mies communicates his ideas with the same discipline with which he designed his buildings, extending his influence beyond the profession.

If you want to participate in this conversation where Moisés Puente and Carolina B. García-Estévez will share their expertise to bring us a little closer to the thinking of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, book your ticket here.
