Loop Festival: Kasta Macka | Woman against the light

The Mies van der Rohe Foundation joins Loop Festival, a program that acts as a platform for artist videos and films through a wide range of activities, including exhibitions, screenings, performances and live performances all over the city of Barcelona.

With the title Kasta Macka, that refers to the ability of throwing a flat stone across water in such a way that it bounces off the surface as many times as possible before sinking,  the intervention at Mies van der Rohe Pavilion proposes a reflection on the relationships between body and space, a central theme in the programming of the pavilion itself.

Klara Lidén (Stockholm, Sweden, 1979) is a contemporary artist who currently lives and works in Berlin and New York City. She studied architecture and is known for her installations and videos that respond to specific architectural environments.

This year the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion, in the frame of Loop Festival, presents :
