The Fundació Mies van der Rohe and Cities Connection Project invite you to participate in a meeting to discuss the architecture of Wallonia-Brussels, Barcelona and Basel and their connections.
Shared spaces, which have gained special importance in recent times, is the theme chosen for the CCP06 edition. The sharing of spaces and activities, and the diversity of the architectures that make it possible, is illustrated by the projects on display at the COAC from October 27 to November 24, some of them nominated for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Awards, and in a publication that serves as a starting point for debate. The different approaches and processes that architects from different cities or countries have applied in very heterogeneous contexts initiate the conversation between a large group of architects from the three cities in the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion.
Cities Connection Project was born as a connector between European cities, through their architecture, to create synergies between them by crossing personal experiences shared between professionals, students and traders, in a series of cultural activities such as exhibitions, debates and publications around architecture.
