Experiencies in The Laboratory of the Future

Once the Venice Architecture Biennale 2023 is over, we invite you to meet us on 14 December at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion with the proposals and the studios that have represented Catalan architecture this year.

We will recreate the whole with an adaptation of the proposal that Leve Projects and Top Manta projected for the space Catalonia in Venice, “Following the Fish”, a sample of “Emotional Heritage”, by Flores&Prats, architects invited by the Biennale’s Lesley Lokko; and the audiovisual pieces presented in the Spanish pavilion Foodscapes: CHOP, CHOP, CHOP by MAIO and Agnès Essonti Luque and Ruta Fría by Pol Esteve and Gerard Ortín Castellví, as well as a small tasting of the exhibition The laboratory of education – EUmiesAwards Young Talent 2023 that we presented at the Palazzo Mora in Venice as a collateral event of the Biennale.

In this environment we will meet at 12:00 h in a round table with the authors of these proposals to talk about the experience in the Biennale Architettura 2023: The Laboratory of the Future and how this opportunity allows us to continue developing these projects. We will be joined by Anna Ramos, director of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe, and Pere Almeda, director of the Institut Ramon Llull, as well as other guests who have also been involved in the Biennale.

We look forward to seeing you all to recapitulate and discuss the perspectives opened up by the experience of participating in the Biennial.

This day, access to the Pavilion will be free, but in order to access the 12 p.m. roundtable you must book a ticket here.
