“Albada” is a site-specific performance in the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion. Through contemporary dance, Gisela Riba propose an immersion in a poetic and disturbing universe that dialogues with the architecture of the Pavilion while loading its spaces with new meanings. The scene will become a concrete relational laboratory, a space where new ways of appearing, being, disappearing or ceasing to be will be rehearsed.
Gisela Riba is a choreographer, performer and pedagogue based in Barcelona. Her choreographies dialogue with art and philosophy to generate new possible worlds that are a reflection of our present.
