From Fundació Mies van der Rohe, as members of the pan-European platform of museums, festivals and architectural promoters Future Architecture Platform, we invite you to join the 2021 Creative Exchange live webcast.
Creative Exchange is one of the key European events for networking and presentation of architectural ideas, and “Landscapes of Care” is this year’s new season of the European Architecture Program. The 2021 Creative Exchange will be one of the first major events dedicated to the conversation about the New European Bauhaus, announced in September by the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
The core of the Creative Exchange will be nine talks with twenty-seven young artists and experts from various disciplines addressing topics of public space, landscape, buildings, revisiting histories, transdisciplinarity, paradigm shifts, feminism in architecture, decolonization, and new policies from 3 to 5 March.
We would like to highlight the three YTAA selected proposals that will be presented on March 4th: “OASI” which will be presented by Álvaro Alcázar Del Águila, “Stage for the City” by Monika Marinova and “Off the Grid” by Willem Hubrechts. Amica Dall from Assemble, nominated to the EU Mies Award, on different occasions, will be the main guest at this year’s event. She will present the Annual Reflection Summary on March 3rd and will be the keynote speaker the day after. On March 5th, Anna Ramos, director of Fundació Mies van der Rohe, will moderate the table “Building Equality” during the session “Tools of Care” and will present our contribution to the 2021 European Architecture Program, an on-site/on-line debate series during the ‘Barcelona Architecture Week’ next May.
