Film evening for the Living Places – Simon Architecture Prize Granting Ceremony

The fourth edition of the Living Places – Simon Architecture Prize (2022) will culminate this coming Wednesday February 15th with a film evening, thus recovering the format of a ceremony with an audience and closing a successful edition.

The now legendary Phenomena Experience cinema in Barcelona will host a full-screen viewing of the five finalists in each category -Collective Places and Personal Places- which were announced last December 2022.

The members of the jury, chaired by architect Carla Juaçaba, announced the winners Carlos Facio i José Amozurrutia for their project Khitara, as a temple-kiosk for the guitar, in the Collective Places category, highlighting their audiovisual piece; and also to Andrés Jaque and Miguel Mesa del Castillo in the Personal Places category for their project Rambla Climate-House, presenting them with the corresponding emblematic trophy, designed by Andreu Carulla.

In the Phenomena hall, a retrospective exhibition of the forty finalists, winners and special mentions of these four editions of the Prize was on display to review the great examples of architecture that have stood out in each edition.
