Debates at the Pavilion: Presentation of the publication “Mies van der Rohe. The collective housing collection”

We would like to invite you to the conversation about collective housing that the Debates at the Pavilion program is hosting on the occasion of the presentation of the publication “Mies van der Rohe. The Collective Housing Collection” by Fernando Casqueiro with the architecture publishing house a+t.

The author, who is an architect and professor of projects at the ETSAM, compiles and analyzes the thirty-six collective housing projects that Mies van der Rohe built or only designed from his early years in Germany to the end of his life in the United States. In this way, it reveals the innovations that Mies contributed to the composition of the modern floor plan and its relationship with the façade.

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, March 28 at 7 pm at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion to discover some of the contributions of this research in a conversation between Fernando Casqueiro Barreiro and Anna Ramos (director of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe), Aurora Fernandez Per (journalist and editor of a+t architecture publishers), Carlos Revilla Madrigal (architect and researcher) and Nicolás Maruri González de Mendoza (architect, professor of projects and researcher at the ARKRIT Group).
