Music Pavilion | Atenea Quartet for Barcelona Obertura

The Mies van der Rohe Pavilion becomes a Music Pavilion again and invites you to enjoy a morning concert in this space that makes music special.

The performance of the string quartet Atenea Quartet is part of the Ciutat de Clàssica program which, as part of the Barcelona Obertura Spring Festival, celebrates spring and invites us to listen to young local musical talents at various facilities in the city.

Gil Sisquella and Jaume Angeles on the violins, Bernat Santacana on the viola and Iago Domínguez Eiras on the cello will perform three divertimenti for string quartet by Benjamin Britten, three Fantasias (6, 4, 5) by Henry Purcell and the String Quartet nº 1, Op. 7 by Arnold Schönberg accompanied by the comments of music critic and disseminator Toni Colomer.
