The Fundació Mies van der Rohe and the Fundación Goethe invite you on Saturday, April 5, to a performance by musician and artist Anne Müller, known as h e u, who will transform the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion into an unusual stage for an immersive artistic experience.
Anne Müller, born in East Berlin, conveys through her work a unique sensitivity to fragility and unexpected changes, creating moving moments that oscillate between past and future. She will transport us to live soundscapes, blending architecture with music, noise, poetry, and projections of her video art in the space. H e u works with different microphones and everyday objects to generate sounds, which she combines with instant acoustic loops, musical storytelling, and soul-jazz vocal improvisations.
The characteristics of the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion provide a perfect setting for h e u’s experimental art. The fusion of spaces and the Pavilion’s distinctive fluidity invite active participation—not seated, but moving through the space—to enhance the synergy between sound, architecture, the audience, and contemporary art.
