
In this weekend of “Viu Montjuïc, el parc de la cultura” we invite you to live Montjuïc to the rhythm of jazz. Mies van der Rohe Pavilion, converted into a Music Pavilion, will host a concert on Sunday, October 17 at 4 pm by students of the manouche jazz field of the Municipal School of Music – Center of the Arts (EMMCA) that everyone can enjoy from the esplanade.
These students will perform the sound of the Quintette du Hot Club de France, a group founded in 1934 in France by guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stéphane Grapelli, an inescapable reference that revolutionized Paris and European jazz during the second half of the decade. ’30s and the’ 40s.
