Presentation to teachers of the Educational Activities program

If you are a teacher we invite you to make a tasting of what could be a morning with secondary and high school students with the educational activity “Discovering the keys of modern architecture”.

On November 26 at 11 am we will discover on a large model, and with complementary materials, why the Pavilion became an architectural manifesto that changed the way of understanding architecture around the world, and how it is still a reference and source of inspiration for new generations of architects.

We would also like to introduce you to the educational project of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe to bring modern architecture closer to students:

-The visit to the pavilion (free, complemented with the educational activity or online guided by an expert architect).

-Our documentation center with access not only to our archive, collection and library, but also to personalized support to solve doubts and curiosities for young students who want to deepen their knowledge of the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion and modern and contemporary architecture.

-The Lilly Reich Scholarship for equality in architecture that supports the realization of curricular research work of the 1st year of high school dedicated to the study of invisibilities and inequality in architecture.

Come and enjoy a Saturday morning in this benchmark of the Modern Movement, one of the hidden treasures of the city of Barcelona, and get ready to discover it to your students!
