On Monday 6th of March, a roundtable discussion was held, on the first edition of Tirana Architecture Triennale “Virtually Present, Physically Invisible”, in order to address a new state of being; as our physical presence becomes less active while we shift towards virtual mediums of expression, how we, as architects, academics, institutions, collectives, organizations and individuals prevent the loss in transmission of our ideas and purpose.
The topics of discussion were: “Enhancing Physicality, Institutionalizing Virtuality” and “Virtual Temporalities, Physical Permanencies“.
These topics, moderated by Barleti University, were discussed by different people from Lisbon Triennale, New European Bauhaus, Barleti University itself and also from Fundació Mies van der Rohe, with Anna Sala.
How this new medium and state can improve our way of living and which are the challenges that we are asked to bridge in order to create a new meta-data future.
