16.03.2023 Lilly Reich Grant for equality in architecture: High School mode awards.
We celebrate the 138th anniversary of the birth of the designer and architect Lilly Reich with the announcement of the proposals that will receive this year’s High School Grants.
The jury, after evaluating the proposals received and in accordance with its rules has decided to award the grant to:
- “Creation of a construction game.” by the student Inés Ben Ávila of the Gabriel Ferrater i Soler High School of Reus. Tutor: Rosalía Anglada.
- “Building the future.” by student Ivet Flores Córdoba from the Anton Busquets Punset High School in Sant Hilari Sacalm. Tutor: Daniel Fernández.
Our congratulations to these students and centers who, in addition to receiving bibliographic and educational material, will be co-tutored by the Mies van der Rohe Foundation.
08.03.2023 > 18.04.2023 – Open call for the presentation of Senior High School Students research projects
Fiona Doncaster will tell us about the research she did on the first Spanish architect, with her publication “Matilde Ucelay. Drawing a path”. We will also enjoy the expert voice of Josenia Hervás i Heras, urban architect, teacher and author of the book “The Women of the Bauhaus” with a dissertation on “The first Bauhaus exhibition”.
